Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License
- Special Education (SPED) Endorsement required
- Experience or comfort supporting mild/moderate behaviors
- Willingness to assist with toileting needs if necessary
- Commitment to full-time, onsite work for the duration of the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality special education instruction and support for students in either:
- Grades 6–8 (mild/moderate needs, caseload of approx. 25–30), or
- Grades 9–12 (mild/moderate needs, caseload of approx. 25–30)
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education regulations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Provide behavioral and personal care support as needed
