Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License required
- Special Education (SPED) Endorsement mandatory
- Comfort working with mild/moderate behavioral and academic needs
- Prior experience supporting toileting needs, or willingness to assist when required
- Experience working with middle and high school students strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with mild to moderate needs (grades 6–12)
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25–30 students
- Collaborate with school teams, parents, and specialists to implement effective IEPs
- Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide behavioral and academic support, adapting instruction as necessary
- Maintain documentation and progress monitoring
