Open Positions for the 2026-2027 academic year include:
- PreK Special Education Inclusion Classroom: Guide a class of up to 18 four-year-olds, consisting of both students with IEPs and typical peers. Enjoy the support of two paraprofessionals and an environment that operates on Eastern Standard Time.
- General Education Inclusion Teacher: Support grades K-5 with a caseload of 11 or fewer students. These inclusion classrooms offer rich opportunities to collaborate with paraprofessionals and serve students on both CST and EST.
- Secondary Special Education Self-Contained Classroom: Educate students in grades 6-8 (possibly including 5th), with a manageable class size of 5-6 (potentially up to 10) and two paraprofessionals, all operating on EST.
Desired Qualifications:
- State certification in Special Education (or eligibility).
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusion models.
- Strong IEP writing and implementation skills.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, engaging learning environment.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction in accordance with IEP goals.
- Maintain ongoing data collection and progress monitoring.
- Foster positive EI and social-emotional growth.
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and support personnel.
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based professional development.
