Special Education Teacher - Rossville, GA

Key Qualifications:
- Current Georgia Professional Standards Commission Educator Certificate, including SPED General Curriculum endorsement
- Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of Special Education practices within K-12 schools
- Commitment to collaborative inclusion—ability to work effectively with diverse professionals and support personnel
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of students and staff
- Experience with small-group instruction preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction to approximately 8-9 students within an inclusion classroom
- Collaborate with general education teachers and additional team members to adapt curriculum and instruction
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Maintain positive, productive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Track student progress, provide feedback, and document services appropriately
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and professional development as needed
