Key Requirements:
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification and license for Special Education
- Experience working with middle school students (preferred)

- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction within an inclusive setting, implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Differentiate lessons and utilize a variety of strategies to meet the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure effective inclusion practices
- Maintain consistent communication with families and team members regarding student progress
- Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
