Current needs include:
Special Education Assessment Teacher
Bring your skills in comprehensive evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP development. Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary teams and play a vital role in the evaluation process.
Special Education Teacher – Setting III/IV (Restore Program)
Support high school students in a therapeutic setting, utilizing expertise in Emotional/Behavioral Disorders and trauma-informed practices. Your ability to implement Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans will help students reach their academic and behavioral goals.
Elementary ASD Center-Based Special Education Teacher
Several openings exist for educators with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder to work within a structured, supportive elementary school environment. Apply your knowledge of behavior management, visual and sensory supports, and individualized instruction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering specially designed instruction tailored to student needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Participating actively in IEP, evaluation, and team meetings
- Collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and families
- Promoting an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Ensuring compliance with IDEA, Minnesota special education requirements, and district policies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1/2 acceptable, preference for Tier 3/4)
- Experience in one or more of: ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, or LD settings (preferred)
