Key Qualifications:
- Active California ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) or Moderate to Severe teaching credential (must provide screenshot of CTC for current status)
- Experience working with students in early childhood or early elementary special education settings
- Strong skills in adapting curriculum and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, flexible, and proactive approach to individualized instruction
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student in your caseload
- Develop and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and other professionals
- Foster positive, inclusive learning environments and encourage student growth
- Regularly assess student progress and modify strategies as necessary
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators to support student success
This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and is situated in vibrant Richmond, CA, within easy reach of San Francisco.
