Special Education Teacher in San Francisco, CA
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in San Francisco, CA. We are currently hiring Special Education Teachers across all grade levels, from Pre-K through 12th grade, with opportunities to support students with a wide range of academic, behavioral, developmental, and functional needs.
We are seeking candidates with Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) credentials. These positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working collaboratively with students, families, educators, and related service providers.

Qualifications:
Valid California Education Specialist Credential in one of the following areas:
Mild/Moderate Disabilities
Extensive Support Needs (ESN) / Moderate-Severe
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, developmental, and functional needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions
Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt instruction and classroom supports to meet individual student needs

Compensation:
$38–$55+ per hour, depending on experience and district budget
