Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Previous experience in Special Education classroom settings preferred
- Strong behavioral management skills and ability to differentiate instruction
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Utilize diverse instructional strategies to promote academic growth and independence
- Partner with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Monitor student progress and regularly report on goal attainment
- Create engaging, adaptive lesson plans within SDC or RSP settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
