Special Education Teacher Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in Mission Viejo, California to hire two Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. This position is ideal for educators looking to work with elementary students in a supportive mild/moderate program with instructional aide assistance.
Assignment Overview
- Location: Mission Viejo, CA
- Position Type: Full-Time
- School Year: August 20, 2026 – June 10, 2027
- Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
- Student Population: Grades 4-6
- Caseload: Up to 28 Students
- Support Staff: 1 Instructional Aide

Primary Duties
- Provide direct special education instruction
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with school staff and families
- Monitor academic and behavioral progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
- Maintain required documentation and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active California CTC Special Education Credential
- Experience in elementary special education preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively
