Key Qualifications:
- Valid credential(s) in Special Education: Mild/Moderate license, Moderate/Severe and Autism License required
- Experience or strong interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs across PreK–5 grade levels
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect students' specific needs and abilities
- Adapt and deliver specialized instruction using evidence-based strategies
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed
- Support classroom management and promote social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate records and comply with educational regulations
