Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and family members
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills
- Advocate for students’ needs and support their personal growth
