This contract opportunity begins ASAP and extends through June 11, 2027, providing stability and a rewarding professional experience. With two positions available, educators can work on-site or be considered for a virtual role depending on experience.
This role offers a weekly schedule of 32.5 hours, with hours from 7:25 AM to 2:10 PM and an early release on Wednesdays at 1:10 PM. As a valued educator, you’ll empower students with special needs, focusing on life skills and behavioral support programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience in elementary settings (preferred)
- Background in life skills instruction and/or behavior intervention programs is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experienced virtual educators are encouraged to apply (virtual candidates must secure liability insurance)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet each student's needs
- Develop and implement effective IEPs, collaborating with families and school teams
- Manage a positive, inclusive classroom environment supporting personal and academic growth
- Utilize appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions
- Participate in meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
