- Experience teaching middle grade students in special education settings

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet students’ unique learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues and families
- Foster a therapeutic classroom atmosphere where students feel safe, respected, and encouraged
- Employ evidence-based strategies to nurture social, emotional, and academic growth
- Work proactively with support staff, counselors, and administrators to maximize student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities focused on therapeutic education and best practices
