Compensation for this role ranges from $39 to $55 per hour.
Key Qualifications:
- Instructional I or II Certification in K–12 Special Education for PA strongly preferred
- Alternatively, emergency-certified candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, currently enrolled in a certification program or scheduled to take the praxis, will be considered
- Proven experience with case management and writing IEPs
- Comfortable working across grade levels K–6
- Skilled in both Emotional Support and Learning Support settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction to meet individual educational needs of students in grades K–6
- Deliver academic and behavioral interventions in a floating capacity
- Develop, maintain, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Support students’ social-emotional growth alongside academic achievement
- Remain adaptable as you work within various classrooms and caseloads
