Qualifications and Experience
- Active Tennessee Educator License obtained via TNCompass (Practitioner or Professional tier accepted)
- At least one of the following TDOE Special Education endorsements:
- Special Education Interventionist (K-8)
- Special Education Interventionist (6-12)
- Special Education Comprehensive (K-12)
- Special Education Early Childhood (Pre-K-3)
- Strong background in supporting students with mild-to-moderate or complex needs
- Willingness to follow a structured schedule and deliver precise service minutes
- Experience or interest in facilitating Braille instruction is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support according to IEP service minutes, without case-managing
- Collaborate closely with teaching teams, related service providers, and families
- Offer differentiated support for a varied caseload, adapting to each learner’s unique needs
- Track and document student progress to ensure goals are met
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding student progress and needs
