Assignments begin September 9, 2026, and continue through June 26, 2027. Four full-time openings are available, each with a 37.5-hour work week. Onsite work ensures you’re fully engaged with students, families, and instructional teams, shaping impactful learning experiences every day.
Available placements include:
- Middle school life skills program: Teach 12 students with varied needs alongside 4 instructional assistants, blending behavioral and academic support.
- Elementary K-2 developmental classroom: Guide 16 students—some non-verbal—focused on foundational skills and routines, supported by 5 instructional assistants.
- Elementary 3rd-5th grade behavioral program: Support 13 students requiring intensive behavioral interventions, partnering with 4 instructional assistants at a specialized behavioral health center (2 openings available).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching license with special education endorsement or eligibility required.
- Experience working with students in life skills, behavioral, or developmental classrooms preferred.
- Comfort adapting instruction for diverse learning profiles including non-verbal and high-needs students.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Must provide contact information for three most recent supervisor references (name, title/school, email)—this is a firm requirement for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IEP-driven instruction.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and instructional assistants.
- Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Collect data and maintain documentation according to school and district guidelines.
