Four roles are open for the upcoming academic year, with start and end dates from September 9, 2026, to June 26, 2027. Each placement offers unique opportunities for impact—whether you’re drawn to a middle school life skills classroom with a blend of behavioral and academic challenges, or prefer elementary developmental or behavioral health settings serving students with a variety of needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Previous experience in K-12 special education settings strongly preferred.
- Comfort and proficiency working with differing levels of cognitive and behavioral needs.
- Adaptability and positive collaboration with instructional assistants and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to tailor instruction to student IEPs and individual learning profiles.
- Willingness to provide contact details (name, title, email) for your three most recent supervisor references—a firm requirement for consideration.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver instruction for students with diverse special needs.
- Collaborate with experienced instructional assistants to support student growth and independence.
- Develop and implement IEPs and maintain thorough, compliant documentation.
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
- Communicate proactively with families and support teams.
