Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with a Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential; Mild/Moderate credentials may be considered for short-term coverage
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to individual student goals and IEP requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and fellow educators
- Monitor, report, and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the multidisciplinary team
