Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education License preferred (candidates working towards endorsement are also encouraged to apply)
- Experience managing IEP caseloads and collaborating with general education staff
- Knowledge of inclusion, resource room, and push-in service models
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 14–18 high school students (additional support is provided)
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and reevaluations
- Deliver specialized instructional support in various settings
- Engage with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student success
- Optional paid Monday meeting (4:00–5:00 PM) for further collaboration
Schedule & Details:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full school year contract through EOSY 2026
- Diverse caseload primarily involving high school students
- Support offered for inclusion and push-in services
