Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Minnesota Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (dual certification required)
- Previous experience working as a Special Education Teacher in early childhood settings is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of special education best practices, IEP development, and individualized support plans for young children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, classroom staff, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support and specialized services to preschool students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Engage in regular communication with families to ensure collaborative goal-setting and progress updates
