K-5 Special Education Teacher | Stillwater, Minnesota
Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher, working with children in grades K-5. As a key member of the school team, you’ll have the chance to work with a range of caseloads, helping students reach their fullest potential in a supportive setting. The position runs Monday through Friday, with summers off to allow you to recharge and explore other passions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license appropriate for grades K-5
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet students’ diverse needs
- Work closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Engage in team meetings and professional development activities
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as needed
