Qualifications:
- Current LBS1 or standard education teaching license (Adaptive Education certification not required)
- Previous experience with special education or therapeutic day school settings is highly valued
- Flexibility for either full-time or 3-4 days per week schedule
- Passion for making sports fun and accessible to all children, meeting each at their individual ability level
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to small groups of K-12 students (caseload currently 9)
- Utilize all provided equipment and resources to create an interactive, inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with support staff and paraprofessionals, ensuring each child gets individualized attention
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages participation, skill development, and enjoyment in physical activity
