About the Role:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Surprise, AZ for the 2026–2027 school year. This position focuses on a high school resource setting, working with students to support their academic growth and individualized learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction in a high school resource classroom
Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Support students with diverse learning needs in achieving academic success
Position Details:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
High school caseload (resource setting)
2026–2027 school year (NSY)
Onsite position in Surprise, AZ
Qualifications:
Active Special Education Teaching License (Arizona or ability to obtain)
Experience working in a high school or resource setting preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
