Special Education Teacher Work From Home - Nebraska
A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth services, working with elementary students. This role involves serving approximately 15-20 students and is split between two elementary schools, with half of the full-time equivalent (FTE) days assigned to each location.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering special education instruction remotely via telehealth platforms
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborating with school staff, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Monitoring student performance and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintaining clear and thorough documentation of sessions and student progress
Qualifications include:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies and online instructional methods
