Special Education Intervention Specialist
Location: Ohio
Schedule: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $32–$37/hour
Caseload: K–8 and 9–12 caseloads available; multiple openings
We are currently seeking qualified Special Education Intervention Specialists to provide fully virtual services to students attending brick-and-mortar schools in Ohio. Multiple full-time openings are available across K–8 and 9–12 caseloads.
Position Details
- Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week
- Services are provided entirely virtually while students remain onsite at their school campus
- Schedules generally follow the school's typical academic calendar and school-day schedule
- Both direct and indirect services are compensated at the contracted hourly rate
- Hourly pay is issued weekly in full, with no income taxes withheld

Qualifications
- Active Ohio license or certification appropriate for the position
- A minimum of two years of recent school-based experience within the past five years is strongly preferred
- Candidates who do not meet the experience preference may still be considered based on their qualifications and relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with onsite faculty, students, and parents
- Comfortable working independently and providing educational services in a virtual environment
Contractor Information
This position is offered on a 1099 independent contractor basis. The contracted hourly rate applies to both direct and indirect services and is paid weekly in full. No income taxes are withheld, and contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any desired benefits, retirement, or insurance coverage.
