Special Education Teacher in Thermal, CA
Take on a pivotal clerical role supporting Medi-cal operations within an educational environment. Beginning in early September, following board approval, you’ll work full-time hours, playing a key part in ensuring compliance and efficiency for vital Medi-cal processes.
Your background in processing Medi-cal requests, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills will serve you well, as you take ownership of time surveys and maintain close communication with district staff and Medicaid representatives.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience processing Medi-cal requests and documentation
- Solid understanding of Medicaid requirements and guidelines
- Exceptional organizational abilities, able to keep records and procedures accurate and up to date
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly preferred, supporting effective communication
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with district staff and Medi-cal officials
- No special licenses or certifications required, but proven clerical expertise is essential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and verify random time survey submissions from staff to ensure compliance and timely reporting
- Liaise regularly with SPED team members and district staff to confirm protocols are followed
- Meet monthly with Medi-cal to review procedures, clarify expectations, and promote best practices
- Maintain thorough records and provide documentation upon request
- Troubleshoot submission and reporting issues and offer support for resolution
