Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education Certificate/Endorsement required
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral needs, and AAC devices preferred
  • Willingness to work in structured, center-based programs
  • Ability to manage and support classroom staff and collaborate with related service providers
  • Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services in full-time or part-time special education roles (SLS, SSN, AN, or Learning Specialist)
  • Oversee classrooms supporting students with significant autism or behavioral needs
  • Implement individualized, life-skills-based programs and data-driven behavioral interventions
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment and mentor paraeducators
  • Communicate with families and help integrate students into the larger school community
