Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education Certificate/Endorsement required
- Experience with autism spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral needs, and AAC devices preferred
- Willingness to work in structured, center-based programs
- Ability to manage and support classroom staff and collaborate with related service providers
- Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver services in full-time or part-time special education roles (SLS, SSN, AN, or Learning Specialist)
- Oversee classrooms supporting students with significant autism or behavioral needs
- Implement individualized, life-skills-based programs and data-driven behavioral interventions
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment and mentor paraeducators
- Communicate with families and help integrate students into the larger school community
