Qualifications:
- Current Special Education (SPED) certification valid in Kansas.
- Experience supporting middle school and/or high school students, particularly in life skills and resource programs.
- Strong ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse needs and learning styles.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working across disciplines and with support staff.
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction for students on a specialized caseload.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in coordination with staff and families.
- Modify the general education curriculum as needed to ensure access and growth for all learners.
- Foster a welcoming and structured classroom environment, emphasizing social-emotional and academic growth.
- Track progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal requirements.

This is a full-time, onsite contract role (37.5 hours per week) for the school year.
