Starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027, you’ll be an essential part of an educational team dedicated to fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment for children in their formative years.
Desired Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Arizona Special Education Teaching certification
- Possesses an active IVP Fingerprint card
- Demonstrates knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to modify curriculum
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in a self-contained setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and students
- A passion for helping each child reach their unique potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored for K-3rd grade students with a variety of learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in close partnership with families and school teams
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and behavior supports to create a positive, structured classroom environment
- Assess academic and social growth, documenting progress and making data-driven instructional adjustments
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and family communications
- Maintain an inclusive, respectful setting where each child feels supported and valued
