You’ll work with a diverse caseload, providing targeted support both in resource settings (push-in/pull-out) and through co-teaching inclusion in general education classrooms. Desired Background and Experience:
- Valid New York State Teaching License for K-5 Teacher of Students with Disabilities is required.
- Prior experience with special education at the elementary level—particularly 4th and 5th grade—is highly desirable.
- Strong collaboration skills for co-teaching with general education staff.
- Familiarity with both inclusion and resource instructional models.
- Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and manage IEP implementation.
