Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher license (appropriate to Minnesota requirements)
- Experience working with Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) preferred
- Previous experience in a middle school setting is a plus
- Strong skills in behavior management, IEP development, and progress tracking
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to middle school students with EBD
- Develop and adjust IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support both academic and behavioral growth
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
- Foster a positive and safe classroom environment
