Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, preferably in an elementary school setting

- Creative problem-solver with patience, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead teacher in a full-time elementary autistic support classroom
- Design and implement individualized instruction tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Develop, review, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where each student can thrive
