What You'll Do:
- Provide direct instruction and individualized support to elementary students with a range of abilities and needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize strategies and interventions designed for life skills development and positive behavior support
- Foster a safe, encouraging, and consistent classroom environment
- Collect data and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance best practices
Ideal Background:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Prior experience with elementary age groups preferred
- Expertise or strong familiarity with life skills or behavior programs highly valued
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable with standard instructional technology
- Virtual candidates considered with relevant experience; must secure liability insurance (1099 status)

Enjoy the reliability of a Monday–Friday schedule, 32.5 hours a week, with school days starting at 7:25 AM and ending at 2:10 PM (Wednesdays end at 1:10 PM).
