Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Special Education Teaching License required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, evaluation protocols, and individualized instruction

- Organized, flexible, and committed to student-centered teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual and triennial evaluations (about 5-10 per year) for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs
- Deliver direct instruction and support in both resource and inclusive settings
- Partner with families and educators to ensure continuity of services
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
