Special Education Teacher | Yuba City, California
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. This onsite position is based in a vibrant educational setting and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
In this role, you’ll dedicate 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 11th, 2026 and concluding June 4th, 2027. You'll be welcomed into a team of passionate educators, and more details regarding specific duties and caseloads will be provided closer to your start date.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credentials required
- Prior experience working with students with differing abilities preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to IEPs
- Collaborate with other educators, aides, and specialists as needed
