Special Education Teacher - Anaheim, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience supporting moderate to severe disabilities in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Previous experience managing caseloads and acting as a case manager for students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet varied learning needs
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction in accordance with students’ IEP goals
- Serve as case manager for assigned students, coordinating multidisciplinary team meetings and communications
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring all documentation is timely and thorough
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational staff to provide holistic support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages engagement, independence, and positive social interaction
