- Prior experience in Special Day Classrooms a plus

Role Highlights:
- Full-time schedule: 7.5 hours a day, Monday through Friday
- Support a small group of 2nd & 3rd grade students (6 learners) in the fall, starting at 8:00 AM
- Transition to teaching middle school students (7 learners) in the spring semester, beginning at 8:10 AM
- Deliver instruction in self-contained environments, focusing on students with moderate to severe needs
- Implement IEPs, adapt curriculum, and partner closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
- Foster a nurturing environment where each student’s growth and independence are celebrated
