Key Qualifications:
- Active California CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate required
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher within school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Able to travel between school locations in the region
- Adaptability and organizational skills necessary for split-site work
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers by co-managing caseloads, developing and implementing IEPs
- Work directly with students to provide individualized instruction and monitor progress
- Collaborate on behavior management and differentiated instructional strategies
- Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress and needs
- Ensure all services and reporting comply with state and federal guidelines
