Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification required (Tier 3 or 4). Please ensure your certification and current resume are submitted. Submissions without both cannot be considered.
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting students with DCD and/or similar learner profiles is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of individualized educational plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and specialized instructional strategies for elementary-age students.
  • Empathetic communicator and team player, adept at collaborating with colleagues, families, and related service staff.
  • Ability to maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to a caseload of elementary students within a center-based DCD setting.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and growth areas.
  • Adapt curricula and classroom environments to foster student engagement and learning.
  • Actively collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to maximize student success.
  • Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining transparent and positive relationships.

This contract spans the full academic year, with a Monday-Friday schedule and 37.5 hours per week, offering a consistent routine to best support your students and professional growth.
