Special Education Teacher in Andover, MN

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Proven experience or strong interest in working with students with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, or similar learning profiles
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of maintaining detailed, accurate student records and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction, support, and intervention services to students in the Ready, Set, Launch program
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with related services staff, general educators, and families
- Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports student growth
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and needs
