Special Education Teacher - Anoka, MN

Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching certification, Tier 3 or Tier 4 required (please ensure credentials are attached with your application)
- Current experience or strong background working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD)
- Deep commitment to individualized instruction and differentiation to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster an encouraging, supportive classroom climate
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and adapt educational programs for students with DCD in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction, support, and encouragement to students in both academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to best meet student needs
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress using clear, data-driven methods
- Uphold all district policies and state standards for special education
