Special Education Teacher in Anoka, MN

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Minnesota special education license (PELSB/MDE required – no exceptions)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Tier 2 (or higher) credential, with preference for ASD-certified educators
- Experience or willingness to work with elementary-aged students and diverse learning needs
- Collaborative approach to partnering with paraprofessionals, intervener, and staff
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 10 students, implementing individualized instruction
- Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance and student progress
- Cultivate an inclusive, positive classroom environment tailored to student needs
- Support and guide paraprofessionals and an intervener in daily activities
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
