Special Education Teacher | Moorhead, Minnesota

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Experience working with students who have cognitive impairments and/or significant autism.
- Strong skills in creating and modifying Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Effective communication and teamwork with colleagues, families, and support staff.
- Compassion, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Differentiate teaching methods and materials to suit individual strengths and challenges.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress, maintain data, and report on academic and behavioral outcomes.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support services to maximize student success.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom activities.
