Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia General Special Education Certification (ACTIVE GaPSC Certification or equivalent required)
- Direct experience in school-based special education settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in IEP implementation and documentation
- Strong classroom management and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Full-time, onsite availability Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students in the IRR setting, focusing on their unique academic and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to promote inclusion and facilitate student achievement
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with all IEP requirements
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
