Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education required
- Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement

- School-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are also encouraged to apply
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in a Life Skills setting, supporting diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, paraprofessionals, and families
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Utilize academic, social, medical, and physical interventions to promote student independence and growth
- Maintain accurate student documentation and progress reports
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture that encourages participation and achievement
