Candidates best suited for this role will possess:
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification, with General Special Education endorsement or comparable credentials
- Demonstrated experience in school-based special education settings
- Proficiency in implementing and tracking IEPs
- Strong classroom management and effective documentation skills
- A collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and general education staff
- Full-time availability, Monday–Friday, for 40 hours per week
- Reliable transportation to commute to the onsite location
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to student needs
- Support the implementation and progress monitoring of IEPs
- Maintain detailed records and provide thorough documentation for compliance
- Foster a positive, structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Communicate regularly with families and key stakeholders regarding progress
This is an onsite position with a set schedule aligned to the school year through May 2027, giving you the stability to connect deeply with students, families, and colleagues.
