Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education and Core/Generalist endorsements
- Direct experience supporting foundational/life skills curriculum for elementary grades (EC-6)
- Proven participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially when partnering with multidisciplinary teams
- Adherence to professional dress and appearance standards: no visible tattoos, natural hair color, professional attire, and minimal earrings
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized lesson plans addressing foundational and life skills for students with special needs
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and families to develop and monitor IEP goals
- Maintain meticulous documentation to support student progress and legal compliance
- Create an inclusive, welcoming, and structured environment where each child can thrive
- Actively engage and contribute in ARD meetings, advocating for student needs
