Dyslexia Special Education Teacher in Austin, TX

Preferred candidates are trained in the Reading by Design program or possess certification in Basic Language Skills, as these methods are central to student support. The role requires regular participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings—meaning your voice, expertise, and documentation will be vital to student success plans.
Desired Qualifications:
- Texas Educator License with Special Education and Core/Generalist Endorsements
- Dyslexia experience and a strong understanding of intervention strategies
- Proficiency with the Reading by Design curriculum, or similar specialized reading intervention training
- Demonstrated experience with ARD processes and paperwork
- Committed to upholding the school’s professional dress code
Key Responsibilities:
