Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education and Generalist/Core Endorsements
- Experience working with Special Education and General Education students; EC-6 preferred, but Upper School experience a plus
- Trained in Reading by Design or Basic Language Skills (highly recommended)
- Strong familiarity with Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) process, able to actively contribute in meetings
- Professional, inclusive attitude, and adherence to dress code policy (no dyed hair/excessive piercings)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver dyslexia intervention to a caseload of approximately 25 students, blending Special and General Ed needs
- Design and implement effective instructional strategies using Reading by Design
- Attend, prepare for, and participate in ARD meetings
- Foster a supportive, equitable classroom environment
